Oil Operator at Trafigura
Main Purpose:

Trafigura sources, stores, transports, and delivers a range of raw materials (including oil and refined products, metals, and minerals) to clients around the world. The trading business is supported by industrial and financial assets, including 49.6 percent owned global oil products storage and distribution company Puma Energy, global terminals, warehousing and logistics operator Impala Terminals, Trafigura’s Mining Group, 50 percent owned DT Group specializing in logistics and trading, and Galena Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities:
– Co-ordinate all logistics to successfully execute the trade, including ships, trucks, railcars, pipelines, or barges.
– Liaise with Contractual Operations Counterparts and third-party service companies regarding post-deal activities.
– Follow-up on contracts and conduct administrative tasks to support the Area.
– Approve and control related costs.
– Keep the system updated.
– Coordinate invoice entries with Accounting.
– Coordinate material movements with warehouses.
– Conduct weekly and monthly operational reports.
– Check customer exposure.
Knowledge and Skills:
– University graduates in Foreign Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting.
– Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position (preferably in Trading or Logistic Companies).
– Strong command of English.
– Willingness to learn.
– Adaptive to different situations.
– Strong organizational and communication skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
